2012 has certainly been an incredible year! We feel so blessed by all of the amazing moments we had. To name a few: Chip and I got married, started our life together, adopted the sweetest pup and did so much more. I’m excited to close out the best year yet and ring in 2013! Check out some of my favorite moments of 2012:
Spent an incredible bachelorette weekend with these lovely ladies in Dahlonega.
Felt so honored at wedding showers thrown by family and friends.
Married the most amazing man and couldn’t imagine a more perfect day. Photos captured by (once like a spark) photography.
Spent a week in paradise on our honeymoon.
Hosted the first bridal shower in our new home! Many more to come!
Adopted the most precious girl in the world.
Attended the first wedding after ours as a married couple. I’ve always loved weddings, but I do even more now that we are married. There is just something about witnessing the joy and union between two people who love each other so much!
Started our own little garden. One day I hope we can have a real garden.
Headed to the beach with both families. And found out our favorite furry friend loves the ocean. She is a lab, after all.
Stood by two of my very best friends and college roommates on their wedding days!
Shot my first engagement photo session ever! Thanks to the sweet Katie and Scott!
Assisted at a wedding for the first time with the lovely Kathryn of Kathryn McCrary Photography. It was absolutely gorgeous!
And the wedding even included this sweet pup:
Hosted Thanksgiving at our home for about 20 people. I was pretty proud of this tasty turkey. Plus, it was such fun to have everyone in one place for the holidays.
Celebrated MaMa’s 80th birthday (and her sweet face when we surprised her).
And celebrated the Inaugural Couples Christmas with some of our favorite crazies.
Enjoyed Christmas morning with these little ones.
A later in the day, Sophie stole a morsel from the Christmas table. Good thing she’s got a whole year to make her way to the nice list!
Watched Chip create his first woodworking project – a bench. I see many tag-teamed projects in our future!
And finally – at no particular time of the year: just doing life with these two. God has blessed me so fully with the best family in the world. Can’t wait to see what’s in store next year!
Enjoy your New Year and cheers to an even better 2013!
